Dr. Jourdan Carboy and her (incredible) staff have been responsible for two of my gender-affirming surgeries--and I will be returning to her office for a third (and final) procedure next month. Dr. Carboy herself is kind, compassionate, clearly brilliant, skilled, and she has a great sense of humor to boot. Also--perhaps most importantly--Dr. Carboy genuinely respects, listens to, and advocates for her clients. This matters SO much in GAC (Gender Affirming Care), and she has consistently shown up for me in each of these ways. I have only see Dr. Jade for three visits and I am incredibly happy so far with the treatment i have received. She is incredibly kind, has listened to my concerns and she has given me a great treatment plan. After "feeling off" for so many years and my PCP telling me i was fine, that birth control would solve all my concerns, I finally found someone who listened! So thankful I took the leap to invest in my health and took all the recommendations to see her. I also take my almost two year old with me and they are accommodating! Dr. Carboy was very realistic about what to expect, providing good timeframes and assessments based on my needs and desires. The results I've experienced have been excellent! I decided to go with implants, and I felt ready to return to work just two days after the surgery. It is recommended to wait 1-3 weeks or I believe at one’s comfort level to return to work but I felt great after 2 days. Now, at 2.5 weeks post-op, the swelling is nearly gone. I anticipate seeing my final results in another month or two, but I'm already noticing what I was hoping for. The entire staff was incredibly kind and created a judgment-free environment.

I, too, have had recent issues with not hearing from anyone at the office or receiving any call backs. I can leave a message online or by calling, but don't hear back. The website is lacking in what you can do there. No records or medication lists can be seen, and I've never had the "make an appointment " link work. It's a shame because Jade Carboy really is great at what she does and listens extremely well to patients. I have gotten medications issues resolved, but slowly and without any real communication. I think there is a serious lack of office management that desperately needs improving.
