Dr. Llewelyn and his staff were incredibly accommodating during my first visit, and they were very thorough in explaining all of the processes involved with my appointment and my request for a specific service. Dr. Llewelyn did a fantastic job with the procedure I requested, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I will definitely be returning to this peaceful office in Santa Ynez.

Dr Llewwllyn is the best dermatologist I have ever seen, and I've been to a few of them having lived in the desert for 30 years. He is patient with his patient, but moves the process right along, covering every angle. He prescribed a highly effective cream for my eczema. I am very happy with Aloe Dermatology.

Me and wife went here for over two years. But recently they charged disputed charges (needed insurance correction) to my credit card on file WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND WITHOUT TELLING ME. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never return here and I will tell away all my local friends and coworkers about this place. Charging without authorization is illegal.

I went to Aloe Dermatology to have scabs looked at on my head. They said it was nothing to worry about and easily removed if I wanted. While I was there, they removed a mole and had biopsied which required me to return to have the non-cancerous tissue removed. While I was there, I asked Dr. Llewellyn if he could address the scabs on my head since it was such a quick and easy procedure. He said no, it was an insurance and schedule an issue, Come to find out. It’s a scheduling new office visit and additional insurance charge issue. I stay away from doctors that prioritize money over skin issues.

Bad billing practices, MD is all about $$$ and directs his staff accordingly. Aug 2025, routine visit. Told I am OBLIGATED to have credit card in database otherwise MD REFUSED to see me. I have both Aetna and Blue Shield of CA insurances and I am an existing patient. Told MD that in 2024 I was overcharged and did not want to enter credit card in database. Again, MD REFUSED to see me until credit card was entered into database. MD stated he had over $100,000 in unpaid receipts from 2024...not my problem. My credit card was entered into the database before I was seen by the MD and I paid by credit card in person at the front desk before leaving the office. Less than 3 days post visit: two separate charges for the same amount within one minute of each other on the same visit appeared on my
