Allure of Geneseo

My mom lived in an Allure duplex for almost 4 years before moving to the nursing home. She loved it! Jane has created a wonderful community among the independent seniors. She was also a great source of information and compassion when it was time to move mom to the nursing home. There were lots of activities when she wanted to participate but she had total privacy and independence also. The other residents were very welcoming when she moved in and she made great friends.

The apartments at Allure are very nice and a good value.

I was a guest at Allure and played euchre with the residents. I had so much fun meeting and talking with the residents. I found this facility to be very clean and the activity gal there was so good with the residents and they all loved her so much. Her name was Anne.

This place is horrible to leave your relatives. The workers are rough with your relatives and are out for smoke breaks. Medications are given randomly around the times that they are supposed to be resulting in decline of their patients who aren’t receiving meds on time. Staff isn’t helpful or caring towards patients and have not helped at all with the development or wellbeing of the patient. Very few staff members actually do their job but most are just there for an easy dollar. DO NOT SEND YOUR RELATIVES OR ANYONE HERE

I had an appointment at 1:30 with my son-in-law Kevin Freeze. I sat in a chair by his bed and we just talked about all kinds of nice things. His room was pleasant and shade was up and several people that work there came in with some clean clothes,activities director came in and the dietitian came in to get his order for the next day. I think that helps a lot that he has that type of traffic in his room. Everybody was friendly and I certainly enjoyed it.
