Allina Health Urgent Care – Coon Rapids

The check-in process was easy, the intake specialist was sympathetic of what I was going through and was efficient in making sure my information was updated correctly. The urgent care doctor was one of the absolutely best doctors I've seen in an urgent situation. She was clear, concise, understood what was going on and was very helpful in providing next steps and what to look for if things get worse. I had prescriptions in house and they were ready from check out to walking down the hall. I was very impressed!

I was able get in and address the issues I was experiencing. They were very professional listened to my concerns and did so very well. I am a new patient to Allina Health so I was really hoping for a level of care that would be effective and that I feel comfortable with. Thank you.

Elle should not work in healthcare. The worst nurse I have ever been in the presence of. My first moment meeting her I hopped down the hall with my husband to and from the bathroom because someone took the wheelchair I was using after I was brought to the room. Elle’s reaction seeing me in pain hopping back to the room was, “Hobbling along? Hahaha.” I was shocked that she felt so comfortable laughing at a patient in pain. I have a broken toe. She’s not caring and so disrespectful. The new person she was training in, also had no idea what she was doing, and actually went as far as making my broken toe worse. The doctor must have gotten her license out of a crackerjack box. Not much care at all. The only person who should be working there that I dealt with is I believe her name is Leslie. Sh

The most unprofessional medical visit I’ve ever had. I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so bad it needs to be shared. I brought my boyfriend in around 10 AM because he might have had a concussion. The line was short, and they told us there was “no wait” — which sounded great at first. The nurses were friendly and did basic checks (blood pressure, ears, questions), but that was where the professionalism ended. The doctor came in, introduced herself quickly, asked a few questions, squeezed his hands for about 10 seconds, then “diagnosed” him with a possible concussion and told us to go to the ER because they didn’t have CT scans. First experience was great! Staffs were friendly, especially Doctor Mylin W. She was a listener and thoughtful.
