Allied Physicians Group is absolutely amazing! My family has been going to Allied offices for years, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and convenience they provide. Having multiple locations across Long Island and even throughout the tri-state area is such a huge benefit. If one office is ever closed or fully booked (which almost never happens), you can easily go to another Allied location—something that is incredibly helpful for families. What really sets Allied apart is how family-friendly and efficient they are. Some practices offer adult medicine as well, making it a true one-stop shop for busy families. Careful... they take FOREVER to release records if you need to change doctors. My kids' new doctor sent the release to their corporate office in error and they never answered the request or let them know that it was sent to the wrong place (two weeks wasted). Then I sent their own release directly to them and was told it would be one to two weeks. Over two weeks later, I am still waiting. Their unprofessionalism is impacting my child's access to medical care.

Since allied took over Bellmore pediatrics they are so disorganized and borderline incompetent. Hard to get an appointment, or even someone to answer the phone. Never get a call back if I leave a message. And the last straw today was when the cancel my appointment last minute and when I express my concern with their practice the woman on phone completely ignored my frustration. Do not go to any allied physician group, especially Bellmore merrick peds.

Sadly, our longtime Staten Island pediatrician retired and his practice is now managed by Allied Physicians. The level of care has deteriorated greatly and there is zero personalization. No more weekend hours either. I called twice when my daughter was sick during the weekend, and no one returned my call. The onus is on the parent to review bloodwork. No one called when my daughter’s A1C was elevated until I asked about it after reviewing the bloodwork (2.5 weeks later) through the quest portal. Then they wanted to make another appointment to review the bloodwork instead of just calling, like our old pediatrician did… I’m sure this was just to bill. I am very disappointed, and the staff did not seem surprised at all as they recognize how their new computer system does not allow fo

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Montague for several years. She is always pleasant and knowledgeable with any questions or concerns we may have. She takes the time to talk to you and makes you feel comfortable. I can’t say enough about her. She is such a trustworthy doctor. Her staff is organized and friendly. Great group of people.
