Island Better Hearing

I visited Dr. Lori this week expecting to walk out with a recommendation for hearing aids, but instead she took a much more thoughtful and refreshing approach. Her exam was extremely thorough, and she spent a great deal of time asking detailed questions about my hearing concerns and listening carefully to my experiences. Rather than pushing hearing aids, she recommended hearing training as a first step, which I truly appreciated. It was clear she was focused on what was best for me, not a one-size-fits-all solution. I felt heard, respected, and confident in her expertise. I would highly recommend Dr. Laurie to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and patient audiologist.

I’ve been a patient since 2015. Tracey Lynch is my audiologist and she is always accessible. Recently, I had a minor emergency and emailed her at 6:00 a.m. and she responded almost immediately! My issue was resolved by 9:45 a.m. That is service, that is true professionalism and that is patient care! Thank you Tracey and the entire Island Better Hearing staff! The staff is welcoming and kind. Kaitlin the audiologist was beyond fantastic, no wonder she is up for an audiology award. After researching 5 hearing locations, this one alone is a stand out. They devoted their time and energies to helping me. No one has asked me to write this review and I am not her mom, aunt or sister. You will have confidence in their ability to do the right thing, no pressure.

Exceptional Office & Otolaryngologist Katelyn were phenomenal from start to finish. I went in anticipating I needed an ear wax cleaning as I had used some home remedies from the pharmacy and gotten some decent results but wanted to be sure all was well with my hearing. I had looked up online different places after asking my Doctor for recommendations however he was on vacation and another shady website I inquired to never got back to me so I was determined to search for a highly trusted office as I didn't want to play games with my hearing. Long story short from initial intake (greeted with a smile) and quick efficient check in I sat down and was seen quickly earlier than my scheduled appointment which was great. Katelyn proceeded to examine my ears ready to remove any wax fill up however

My experience at Better Hearing with Dr. Tracy exceeded my expectations. The professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail were outstanding. I felt completely at ease and well cared for every step of the way. I’m so grateful for such excellent service.
