Allergy & Asthma Care of Fairfield County

We had a positive experience with Dr. Bauchman who came highly recommended by our Pediatrician. However, as time progressed, it seemed that the office was no longer focused on our care. The PA(?) we saw was lovely but we were informed our follow-up appt was with him, it was not. During our “food challenge" appt, they neglected to set the timer for the final segment of the appt resulting in being there over 3 hours. This is a very long time to keep an 18mo entertained in an empty room. Additionally, we waited 6 months for a re-testing appt. Upon arrival, it was discovered the appt given was never actually booked. No accommodations were made for this mistake; there were no available appts before our insurance coverage expired. Dr. Dever is a wonderful person and doctor! She is thorough, communicative, and patient. She has helped me many times over the past few years, and most recently was able to diagnose a rare allergy when previous doctors couldn’t. She helped me with a complication with an upcoming surgery, going above and beyond to help determine the best and safest permanent materials that I would not have a reaction to. She also treats my young daughter and her team is great with her. I am grateful for her, Ana’s, and the rest of the team’s help.

The office is staffed with friendly though efficient so initially signing in was smooth. Then Dr Bloom and I went over my medical history, lifestyle, etc. She is easy to talk with which made that phase of my visit simple. Because I had used an allergy med up till my appointment I couldn’t undergo the allergy testing. I should have thought of that! So I’ll be returning in a couple of months. All in all I would highly recommend this office and Dr Bloom.

A very positive experience. The entire staff was both cordial and professional on all three of my visits. The office appears very efficient and the staff including Dr. Bloom and the PA are very thorough and courteous.

Great experience with this practice. Every person treated my son and I with respect and kindness. My son is only 8 years old and he was given time to ask questions and be prepared when he was going to be tested. Really happy with this team .
