Zulema, front desk receptionist was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to help my family and I out. We could not reach my dad for several hours and were beginning to really be concerned Zulema went out of her way to locate him and make sure he was fine. She called us back and provided reassurance in a compassionate manner. Customer service at it best. She is truly a wonderful asset to your facility !!! We are so grateful to her

My Mom was in the Allendale sub acute rehab for a little over a month and she had nothing but good things to say about her time there. Alyssa, one of the nurses ran us through everything the night of her admission and made her feel right at home. It made me feel very comfortable leaving her that night knowing she was in good hands. All the staff that I interacted with were very nice and helpful. The physical therapists were amazing and worked her to get back on her feet. They would always check in and were very receptive to any questions we had or talk about her progress. Zulema at the front desk was extremely helpful and went above and beyond when it came to her discharge date. All the front desk staff were very friendly upon arrival when visiting. Comprehensive care with motivated, knowledgeable staff. The facilities are modern, and they go to great lengths to ensure patients’ well-being. We are very grateful to the entire team there.

A relative was here recently for physical therapy for almost 2 months. The PT and OT staff were good, as were most of the nurses, although there were some times the nurses and orderlies seemed understaffed. Two highlights were at Reception, Zulema, always smiling, always friendly, very upbeat. And Lassie (I believe she's an orderly but Im not positive), very friendly, very helpful and very caring.

My parent was in Allendale Rehab for 4 weeks in 2024. In that time they fell 7 times. I know that it is not possible to completely avoid falls though. Several times I visited the parent and saw food and crumbs on their shirt or sweater. The 'room mates' for the 2 person room were hit or miss. One roommate kept on taking my parents belongings (but not stealing them, she just took them and put them in her suitcase or closet). At times the rehab was a modern day "Bedlam" in that patients were crying out for help, another patient was trying to knock over the med cart, a patient was hitting a fellow patient (I had to call a nurse over), a patient was nauseous and I also notified the nurses station.
