So my regular Gastroenterologist is awesome but a very busy lady I’m assuming because of how great she is (Dr Disandro). How ever, I needed a quick appointment and I could get in to see her NP Alice Miller almost immediately. I’m so happy I booked my appointment with Alice as she is a hidden treasure and is an awesome healthcare provider. Very knowledgeable , very thorough as well as very empathetic and validating. Myself as a chronically and terminally ill patient I often struggle to feel heard and be treated more as a person first than my diseases. Alice made me feel very seen and that’s so important to someone like me who struggles everyday to just exist.
