I’ve had a surreal experience of the worst kind with Dr. Alina Gad and her apparently infamously rude receptionist, as per prior reviews. I presented to Dr. Gad’s office with a fractured tooth that had razor sharp edges causing significant pain and cuts to my tongue, making it extremely difficult to eat and speak. I even had a cut on my finger from touching the tooth. After X-rays were taken, Dr. Gad examined my tooth very briefly and informed me that I would need a crown. I expected that, at minimum, the sharp edge would be smoothed and a temporary protective filling applied while awaiting insurance authorization for the crown (2 weeks). I visited this dental clinic for what should have been a routine checkup, cleaning and a very minor cosmetic fix for a small chip on my front tooth—both services fully covered by my dental insurance. Unfortunately, the experience left me frustrated and disappointed. Without clear explanation or prior consent, I was charged $110 for a “desensitizing resin” that I was not informed about beforehand. Additionally, I was surprised to be given anesthesia for such a small edge chip—something that typically doesn’t warrant numbing. To make matters worse, the dental assistant was noticeably clumsy and ended up spilling water on me during the procedure, which only added to an already unpleasant experience. Dr Alina and Mahdy Gad are absolutely amazing! My family has been going to them for years and as an Insurance agent, I make it a point to refer every one of my clients to her office. The staff is kind knowledgeable, and eager to help. Thank you Dr. Gad! I would never go anywhere else!!!
