I have had such a great experience here. I've been seeing Jenny for myofascial release and I so enjoy her intuitive approach. She's very knowledgeable with anatomy and helped me work through pain I've had in my shoulder on and off for years! She is also helping me with a chronic condition I have that affects the fascia, and I've felt so much relief after our sessions. She is kind, gentle, and leads with a curiosity that always leaves me feeling that she really cares.

August 31st is going to mark 2 years that I am going to Alexandria Myotherapy inc to receive a lymphatic cupping and decongestant cupping massage from Teneisha Coursey. She is the best. Very professional, calm and patient. Teneisha always takes the time to listen to my concerns and explain how we’re going to address them. When I started with I was severely backed up and not only feeling better but my congestion has significantly decreased since starting the massage.

I have been to a ton of doctors who gave me the run around. On a recommendation of a friend, I saw Darla for a Lymphatic Drainage massage and it really helped my body turn a corner. I try to have one at least once a month or two months. Most recently, I saw Wendy for Intuitive Healing and after my first appointment I felt significantly better, physically and emotionally. I immediately scheduled appointments for my whole family. Wendy is compassionate and experienced. She makes it very easy to be open. I am extremely happy and grateful for being referred to Alexandria Myotherapy.

I love Alexandria Myotherapy. The therapists are great. They are well trained and really understand the body/muscles. I've been going there monthly for about 4 years and don't go anywhere else. Sheri is fabulous. I get an amazing massage every time and she does a great job of tailoring it to focus on a particular area if there is an ache or issue I have at the moment. She's also trained in pregnancy massage, which was an essential part of my prenatal care.

I have been going to Alexandria Myotherapy for more than ten years for therapeutic massages to address tight muscles in my back. I love them. It is a professionally run practice in an office building in Old Town, more like a doctor's office than a spa, and there is a very soothing ambience. There are nine different therapists, each with their own specialties and techniques. My favorite for the last several years has been Lynne Reid who does deep tissue massage for me. She has very strong hands and is a warm and caring therapist. I always feel better when I leave.
