Alexandria Kiema LMP, LA -- Kiema Massage

Do NOT recommend. I purchased the Groupon without looking at Google reviews first. After my experience and reading the reviews, it's very clear there is a pattern of behavior of late arrivals and missed appointments. Context: I scheduled my 30 minute appointment through the website. ON the day of my appointment, I arrived 15 minutes early. The office was locked and dark inside and I waited in the lobby as the my appointment confirmation instructed. My appointment time came and went but still no one showed. I called Alexandria and she informed me she was running "a bit late", about 20 minutes late, and asked if I could hang around. Given so many folks had a similar experience, and I already wasted over an hour of my night, I asked for a refund. She said that was fine but I needed to work t

Alexandria is a very talented and knowledgeable massage therapist and a wonderful, empathic and thoughtful person. She knows exactly what the right spots are and how much pressure to apply -she will amaze you with her massage skills. Also, her smartness and wittiness are humbling. Her place is nice, warm and cozy, clean- very relaxing. I warmly recommend Alexandria for all your ailments.

Before my appointment Kiema was running late and asked to move the time back, I then opted for a different date. On the day and time of the appointment (2:00), no one was at the office and no message. I called and texted and she called back explaining that she would be 20+ minutes late. I told her I would run errands and be back at 2:45 to give time to get there and prep the room. At 2:45 she again was not there and was now not returning any texts or calls. I waited for 25 minutes and disappointingly left. She messaged me 20 minutes later explaining that her phone had died. We eventually rebooked for 4:15 that afternoon (I had a 40 minute commute and was still in Bellevue). My time is more valuable than this, even with a Groupon discount.

Should have listened to the other reviews. The “running late and eventual no show” seems to be a pattern with people who purchase on Groupon/classpass. I wonder if all the others were all able to get refunds through the merchants at the very least. I was only able to get Groupon credit (merchants normally still receive a portion of the original payment, so this is a clever scam).

I went for a Kiema massage, and it was truly an exceptional experience. She was incredibly professional, highly knowledgeable, and took the time to understand all my pain points. Her technique was precise, and the massage was deeply relaxing and effective. I left feeling completely rejuvenated. I genuinely appreciate her expertise and care, and I would love to come back again and again.
