As a long-time client at the Alchemy Healing Center in Northampton, Massachusetts, I have had the wonderful opportunity to experience the life-changing work of many of its practitioners of acupressure and acupuncture in the Classical Chinese Medicine and Five Element Chinese Medicine traditions. Most recently, I had a 90-minute treatment with Colette Legarrigues, L. Ac., who practices acupuncture and acupressure. As has been the case with each practitioner I have seen in the office over the years, following the treatment there was some immediate improvement, the usual and welcome feeling of greater energy balance, and a continuing stream of positive results over the following days. I have been a client of the Alchemy Healing Center for many years now. You are always greeted with a smile, the office is beautiful and peaceful, and I always feel so much better after having treatments. Most recently I participated in the "Master Alchemy Program", led by Leta and Jaye. After completing the program I have an entirely new perspective on how I have been living my life up until this point, and the changes that are necessary for me to live a truly happy and fulfilled life. My son is on the spectrum. His behaviors were dark and his soul just seemed to be losing its spark. When I found Leta I was desperate. No amount of exercise , social skills or love could reach him. Leta treated him weekly , including the ghost point treatment that was at least 4 hours and I sat back and watched him shine. He still is on the spectrum but his spirit is not covered in slime. I would sit in the waiting room listening to the two of them laugh and he would remind me every Monday that Tuesday was Leta day. This center literally saved my life! I had suffered with severe Crohn’s Disease symptoms and was in and out of the hospital numerous times a year. I was referred to Leta Herman and, no joke, I was eating a whole breakfast the next morning! My family was amazed as they pointed this out. The practitioners at this center connect with your spirit and your body’s intrinsic health that lies under the symptoms of disease. This clinic is one of the great gems of Northampton. I've had many treatments here and they are truly life changing, not only because they work but because the practitioners are phenomenal people.
