Albertsons Pharmacy

My experience has been smooth and pleasant compared to other pharmacies in the area. They keep my particular meds stocked and are great about notifying me whenever theyre ready. They hold onto filled prescription for a more than reasonable time before they shelve them which is critical for some living paycheck to paycheck.

Hey DANNIE at the cash register today at 1:50pm: like it or not, it's none of your business what I'm buying with my food stamps. You clearly had a problem with me. You asked how many kids I have, and before I could answer, you asked if this was for the whole month or just a couple of weeks. If you were just being friendly, you might have asked what we're celebrating (yes, poor people celebrate things too sometimes - get over it), but you wore your derision like bright red lipstick. You're lucky my child was with me.

Friendly and helpful staff, and texts to let you know your medication is ready and the cost. The Albertsons website information is not always accurate, but the important part (the actual pharmacy), is.

Phi (pharmacist and manager) is great and highly skilled. Sadly, the rest of the staff there, including the other pharmacist are extremely rude. I moved to Walmart after 10 years of multiple incidents. The staff service and working knowledge is substandard and unacceptable, except for Phi. He does it all I think and tries to defend them, but there must be a shortage there.

I just moved to the area, and I chose this pharmacy due to the positive reviews. My doctor sent a 30-day prescription 27 days since my last fill. Knowing 27 days is the law, and I knew I would be unavailable to return in the next few days, I went to pick it up. They told me their store policy is that they will only fill every 28 days for a 30-day prescription. I asked if they would fill it this one time at 27 days to get my prescription fill date back on schedule so I could return every 4th Tuesday since that's when I'm available. They declined. My request was reasonable and within the guidelines for my prescription. Any pharmacy I've used in the past would have filled it. Why do they have a policy that's against the national guidelines?
