Albertsons Market Pharmacy

I was just searching for the pharmacy hours and noticed all the bad reviews so felt the need to counterbalance because I switched from Walgreens about a year ago and am SO glad I did. Perfect? No, but for the most part, getting my prescriptions here has been smooth, efficient, and pleasant.

Literally on our way out of New Mexico driving to our new home in Ohio, we stopped to pick up my prescription for oxycodone. This prescription had been requested by my PC Jemery Kaufman the week before. After a couple of days, I called to see what the delay was and I was told they were out of stock and waiting for a delivery. Then later that week I spoke to Robert and he said there was no low stock and was surprised I was told this. Then later I was told the PC had to personally call the pharmacy because they needed to hear her voice re: oxycodone. While all this was happening my driver's license expired. I hadn't realized it had expired. On July 31, literally on our way out of town, packed car etc, I was told about my license by the young man helping customers. He literally started saying

Most of the people at this pharmacy are super nice and helpful. I think the young woman who helped us--Emma, I believe--went out of her way. She texted us when the medication was ready so we didn't have to linger around the store. The poor staff are overworked, including the pharmacist, who is working like crazy every single time we're in there. Yes, there is always a wait, but that's just because they are understaffed.

Always have positive experiences with the folks at this pharmacy. I think your automated system needs an update/rewrite however. System said pickup after 10:30 so I stopped at 11am - prescriptions not ready and don't know when. 1pm robo call stating "out of stock" will let me know. No notice or update the next day. 11am on the 3rd day I stop to check on meds they are all available no one knows why I was told "out of stock". As it stands the automated system is of NO HELP ! Good thing people are available.

My doctor DECREASED my prescription of 30mg Adderall to the 20mg because they were a bit too strong for me. The pharmacist denied me my prescription saying it was to soon to fill because I had filled the 30mg a few weeks earlier. I tried explaining my situation, explaining my doctor thought I could benefit from a lower dose and that's why she prescribed me 20mg instead. My doctor even called and spoke to him for me, but he still denied me. The 2 other prescriptions I needed that were called in for me as well weren't available ....The Wellbutrin would be at least few days and my Trintellex would be at least a week. This pharmacy is a joke. My doctor called into a different pharmacy in the area and I got all 3 of my prescriptions with no problem what so ever....If you're from out of town DO
