Alaris Health at West Orange Managed by Excelsior Care Group

I recently visited my uncle who is a patient there and I was totally surprised as to how clean the place was. They take good care of their patients and treat them with respect. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming and they made sure that I was properly accommodated.

This is the worst place I every heard of. My daughter in law was the a few days they was not taking care of good. The 5 stars is a lie. The stuff didn't clear her. They left her in 💩 . The food was horrible. That place should be a investigated. I'm going to leave a bad reviews on all your media. You just don't treat people's like that.😡😡😡😡😡😡

Had a family member there. When he got sick and started to vomit up blood. They said they were gonna wait for the X-ray to come back B4 sending him to the hospital. I refused and wanted him transferred immediately. He already vomited up 2 cup's of the blood. They wanted to transfer him to East Orange Hospital. I refused that as St Barnabas was right around the corner from the facility. I told them to take him there or I would. After debating with the head nurse. They finally called the Dr and told him what I said. They decided to take him to St Barnabas where he had to have emergency surgery cause he was bleeding internally. If ur person that is in can't talk or understand thing's for themselves. I would recommend that u visit a lot to make sure they r doing what they r suppose to do fo

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The staff are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive to every resident’s needs. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and feels like home. My loved one has received wonderful care here, and it gives our family such peace of mind knowing they’re in great hands. Highly recommend!

As soon as me and my sister walked in the door to visit our aunt, I was greeted with a lovely scent in the air and a warm smile by the receptionist. We appreciate her Nurse, CNA for the morning, and the Rehab staff informing about her care needs and her progress since she's been admitted.
