Beware of Alain Selonou-Temu and Bright Now Dental in Alexandria! I had a very frustrating and concerning experience at this office (5249 Duke Street, Suite 210) and feel compelled to warn others. After changing dentists due to insurance network issues, Aetna recommended Bright Now Dental, and I booked an appointment with Dr. Alain Selonou-Temu. Upon arrival, I underwent some routine X-rays, only for Dr. Selonou-Temu to inform me that I needed to come back later that day for a cleaning and "cosmetic orthodontics." When I asked why I couldn’t get the cleaning during my scheduled appointment, he told me he had to perform a surgery and that I would need to return in about an hour and a half—or I could leave. I was shocked! Why schedule me for an appointment if he was already busy? It seemed
