I’ve been going to Dr. Dozon’s practice for years now, and I can confidently say this is the finest eye care you’ll find in Omaha. Our family has been blessed to have Dr. Dozon as our ophthalmologist for many years. What truly stands out the most is his level of patient care, education, and ability to educate from our youngest to even my grandparents. He spends the time with his patients, empowers them, and encourages them. Having to wear glasses at a young age, Dr. Dozon made it fun and simple. His heart stand behind the level of care he gives. You can always feel his purpose is not driven by anything other than his passion to help others. His staff, practice, and environment is not self driven, it is truly patient care driven. What a rare gem we have found.

My Mom has dementia so I called this place (after reading the glowing reviews) to see if that would be ok. The ladies that answer the phones and do other things are great. Anyway, she said that would be no problem. I take my Mom in and I couldn’t believe how completely rude this doctor was!!! He talked to us like we were morons and just kept saying, “well, she waited too long so there’s nothing I can do”. She has cataracts for crying out loud. So he did nothing for her and he treated her like she was annoying. I am so angry and disgusted with this doctor. The good reviews have to be fake! Don’t waste your time!!!

Aksarben eye staff are AMAZING. The front desk and Sam are great with checking in they are very nice and friendly. The Dr. Dozon, is decent. Could be friendlier and nicer. Seemed as if he wanted to get me in an out. We went with my original prescription from my previous eye doctor. Pretty much a copy and paste appointment. No real Enthusiasm, just go with the flow in and out attitude by the doctor. However I rated a 2 because he does have a good office staff. I think he should match their energy.

Efficient, thorough, and answered all my questions. Up to date technology as well. Will be recommending!
