Akron Children's Urgent Care, Montrose

Wonderful experience from check in to check out! Quick visit and clean facility. We are in town visiting family and my son needed to be seen. The front desk gal, nurse Molly and Dr. G were all wonderful! I hope to not need services in the future, but if I do, I’ll be back with my kiddos! Wish we had an urgent care like this near our home. Thanks again for your above and beyond care, it is appreciated!

My niece went here a few days ago, she got pulled from school for having chest pains and trouble breathing. The dr that she saw tried to make a diagnosis that she was having a panic attack, she's 7 so thats not really an option or possibility for someone that young She saw dr. Perz, I dont recommend going here. My sister took her to her actual pcp in wooster and we found out she has a heart mer mer and has to get seen by a cardiologist. Im hoping she will be okay. Definitely not something we should have to worry about for a 7 year old. If you have a choice in the matter though DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!! They will mis-diagnose them and not give a damn about your child. He didnt run any tests, listen to her heart , NOTHING!! SHAME ON YOU AKRON CHILDRENS, DO BETTER !

Dr. Gotkiewicz and her team were absolutely wonderful! My son has had recurring staph infections since he was two months old and they were so kind and gentle with him and supportive of how I wanted to handle things. He had an infected spot that needed to be treated and tested and they were great about explaining to him what would happen, showing him on his stuffed puppy first and helping him calm down during and after. They were so respectful of his dietary needs when they offered him a treat and gave him medicine. When we left he was smiling and happy and not afraid. Fantastic experience!!!

Always a great experience. The NEW location is quick, clean and efficient for those pesky non-urgent issues that don’t warrant a visit to the ER. Perfect for sports injuries. Staff is professional and great with kids.

The ladies who took care of our son were great which is why I’m leaving a review. To the administrators, PLEASE open an urgent care in the canton area. We had to drive to Montrose to get care for our son. There are no pediatric urgent cares in the area.
