AHF Healthcare Center - Valley

They don't seem to really hardly care if you're alive or dead or trapped or stranded by difficult troublesome unsupportive life-heathcare bad circumstances you can't manage yourself alone as an elderly weaker frail ill disabled civilian AIDS-patient citizen!!!! Infact ALL of LACounty healthcare system could really hardly care either!!!!

Been going here for 23 years and have had the same doctor who is great. I typically don’t bother calling or bugging the over every little nose sniffle as I’m very in tune with my body and needs. However, recently I reached out because of a health crisis and I’m so disappointed. I can’t ever get to see my doctor and am pawned off on virtual doctors and other there for a minute doctors. In one month I have had 3 appointments and three referrals with no diagnosis or proper treatment. I’m basically diagnosing myself. Additionally, I desperately needed medication for abnormally high blood pressure and heart rates. I was told to expect the medication on one day and it never arrived. I had to take the initiative to reach out and ask them when I’d get it. Come to find out after calling them twice,

The pharmacy is vindictive. If they don't like you. Be prepared to go to war with the Pharmacy Manager, Leslie Collins. #uglyinsideandout. The nurse Barbara won't ever answer the phone for patients. A very uncaring center. All about the money and kick backs for this unsanitary staff. Please report them, out you are having the same problems. I've been a client for 20 years. Still get the same treatment.

Unfortunately only marginally better than any experience with the Hollywood clinic, where I was previously going until a year or two ago, & NOWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS IT USED TO BE at it's older location on on Van Nuys Blvd, a few blocks further south. The new location is larger & perhaps easier for the employees & AHF, but for patients it's a disaster! The personnel at the front window are unpleasant, seemingly distracted at having to actually deal with patients, rude & a FAR cry from the friendly efficient & warm environs of the other staff. They appear, without exception on my 3 (so far) visits since the move, to be displeased at having to deal with patients directly, and merely tolerant of our existence, rather than realizing that WE are why they are employed at all! BETTER ATTITUDES

Great customer service & compassion is amazing. I have had some issues but who doesn't. All was resolved. Dr. Carrol rocks!
