Ahern, Nichols, Hersey, and Butterfield Family Dentistry

Dr. Butterfield is an amazing dentist. The staff is lacking in training of the simple task of verifying benefits which cost me over 1400.00. The office manager was of no help but did try to tell me other services that could of been billed. Great customer service.

Totally disappointed. This place has great dentists and hygienists BUT their billing is deceiving. They purport that they accept all insurances so you assume that when they tell you you won't have to pay for basic services that you won't have to pay. Unfortunately... I received a large bill. Come to find out that only Delta is "preferred" and they did not accept my insurance's fee schedule. Even though they informed me that the X-rays, initial appointment, and cleaning were free, the services turned out to cost around $300. I tried to tell the billig department that I was told it was going to be free but the company line is that everything is an estimate and that my insurance coverage is between the patient and their insurer. I hardly knew I was at the dentist. Dawn was so fun to talk with and very clear about any issues she saw in my mouth but did it in a way that was interesting and informative and not judgmental. She was efficient and professional. Funny that I had never met her in all the years she has worked there and the years I have been a patient of the dentistry.

Could not recommend Ahern, Nichols, Hersey and Butterfield Family Dentistry more! Nearly 40 years as a practice. The staff is so friendly and very professional from the moment you walk in and throughout your appointment. A calm and informative experience each and every time. The technology they use, the cleanliness, open communication, the smiling staff… superb!

always enjoy coming here. I see Ashley for my hygienist but she wasnt in for my visit today so I saw Evon and she was amazing. All hygienists are great and knowledgeable. Dr Ahern is great, always in a good mood and I never feel rushed. Big win for this office 💪
