Our son received the OMM treatment at the Chauncey location by Dr. Patel. We love Shaili! She was the absolute best. Made us super comfortable with the treatment and our son was happy and giggly the entire time. She gave us practical things to do at home and we saw improvement right away. We will always recommend Shaili Patel to anyone, either for OMM or normal pediatrics. She is the absolute best. We really appreciated the fact that Shaili took a proactive approach in having him start OMM before anything progressed too far.

The office started off well as we went in for a tongue tie procedure. I truly appreciated that the doctor personally called me the night of the procedure when my baby boy was extremely fussy and we couldn’t get him to eat or stop crying. The doctor even called me back two hours later (around 10:30 pm) to check on him, make sure he had calmed down, and see if he had eaten. That level of care meant a lot to us. truly an awesome doctor. However, I was disappointed with the after-care communication policy. All medical questions have to go through text message. The procedure was done on Thursday, and by Tuesday my baby was still very fussy. That day, I couldn’t get a single person to help me over the phone. I was repeatedly told to text the number provided. Our visit was a very pleasant one. Check in was quick and easy and our time with the physician was wonderful. She was very thorough and very informative with any questions or concerns we had. She even provided information we wouldn’t have thought to ask about. Definitely happy with our choice in our provider for our baby girl and would recommend to other families. Shaili Patel is the best pediatrician. I highly recommend her and Agave Pediatrics. They have been so helpful with my daughter. She needed a lip and tongue tie procedure done, and it went so smoothly. We also did OMM, and I can’t even begin to tell you the difference it made. I was skeptical at first. But my daughter went from a small flat spot and constantly looking down to a perfectly shaped head, and she looks all around. She can move her head so easily now and doesn’t favor her left side. You will not be disappointed. Thank you!

Dr Powers was great and very personable. The nurse was also very pleasant. However not sure what happened after the doctor left and we were waiting for a flu shot. I sat in the room with a 2 yr old for over 20 more minutes only to find out, the nurse had no idea we needed a flu shot. I got him dressed and was going to leave but saw the nurse and she said she didn’t know. She did get the shot within a minute and was able to administer right away. Not sure what happened with the communication but a 2 yr old boy in a tiny room was not good for his patience.
