I worked with Dr. Marlisa Overton for three sessions — each focused on a different issue (foot, hip, and shoulder). From the very first appointment, she was inquisitive, attentive, and genuinely invested in understanding why my pain was happening, not just where it was. She asked thoughtful questions, performed a thorough assessment, and spent the rest of each session walking me through targeted movements to help address the root cause. By the end of every session, I left with noticeable relief that kickstarted my recovery. I’ve continued doing the PT movements she prescribed twice a day — before workouts and before bed — and the difference has been monumental. I’m no longer waking up in pain, my hip no longer cramps during intense workouts, and I feel stronger and more capable in the gym

Had a knee injury almost a year ago - had a few sessions with Marlisa because I haven’t been able to sit for long periods of time comfortably without extreme pain in my leg. Well, I just sat on a 4.5-hr flight in coach with almost zero hip/knee/quad discomfort. The rehab protocol she gave me a few months ago has really helped strengthen. I can almost do single-leg squats without any pain on my right knee (the pain has significantly improved to almost none). I’m going to keep up the rehab protocol she gave me for a lifetime, I’ve incorporated it into my warmups! Thanks Marlisa!

Marlisa is an amazing PT! She takes the time to listen to what’s going on and creates a solid exercise plan to get you back up and running again. I’ve also gotten dry needling done from her a couple times (back and foot) and it always unlocks bound up muscles. Can’t recommend her enough!
