Afshari Surgical MD

My husband had to have his gall bladder removed. We live in Bluffton, SC and had to travel to Jacksonville, FL to get this procedure done for him due to insurance restrictions. It was WELL worth the drive. Dr. Afshari was not only one of the most intelligent and professional doctors we have ever encountered (and that says A LOT as we are originally from Long Island, NY) but his patience with our questions and concerns as well as the fact that he made us feel like my husband was his most important patient was both a relief and huge comfort. Coleen from his office guided us through the process both before and after the surgery with professionalism and patience. A truly remarkable medical practice! I would highly recommend Dr. Afshari for any medical needs.

Dr. Afshari removed my gallbladder last week and did a great job. There were no complications to my surgery and Dr. Afshari was able to perform the surgery laparoscopically. Dr. Afshari is direct and clear, which I appreciate, and he is also friendly and personable. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs to have their gallbladder removed!

Dr. Afshari is one of the best surgical doctors I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Initially, I was a bit worried about having surgery but the doc made me feel at easy. He explained the procedure, step by step and answered all of my questions/concerns. I recovered quickly with no scars. Very cozy and welcoming establishment. His staff is a sharp as he is. Their communication was (and still is) excellent. They are very friendly and helped to make my surgery a breeze. They were always available. I would highly recommend Dr. Afshari and his staff for surgery.

The atmosphere in this practice is awesome. The staff is very courteous. DR. Afshari is very knowledgeable surgeon and has a great bedside manor. If you are looking for a surgeon, I highly recommend!

We were referred to Dr. Afshari for a fairly simple surgery for my wife. There were a couple of minor complications that had to be dealt with during and after the surgery. Dr. Afshari was amazing to work with. He was attentive and knowledgeable and made us feel secure that we were getting the best care possible. His staff is so friendly and by the end made us feel like family. I would highly recommend him and his office for any surgical needs.
