AFC Urgent Care Waltham

I went in a couple of hrs before the big blizzard was starting. I was very sick and everybody was extremely cordial and helpful. The medical tech and the clinician were extremely professional and kind and thorough. They did everything I would’ve expected at my Dr’s office. They provided me with the test results and ordered 3 prescriptions to my pharmacy immediately. I’m grateful to the AFC team In Waltham.

I booked an appt online and was seen right away. The staff were all very friendly. The providers were thorough and knowledgable. I was trying to get better on my own and wait it out but AFC Waltham determined that I had pneumonia! They treated me accordingly and I was happy I went when I did before my symptoms got any worse. Great experience and would recommend to others.

Online check-in was great. I did not have to wait for long in the clinic. The clinic was clean and spacious too. Very pleasant visit. Doctor personally called to let me know the test result for strep. Got the prescriptions quickly. The whole process was very fast and efficient. They even called me 2 days after to check in if I was feeling better.

It was my first time using urgent care and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I was glad to have the assistance. It was a smooth visit without too much wait time and I am happy I made the choice to go.

If I could rate this urgent care less than 1 star I would. I went in for an ankle sprain. My ankle was swollen the size of an apple. They did not offer me any assistance despite it being very visibly obvious I am in extreme pain when walking. I had to ask for a wheelchair for them to assist me. After my Xray the nurse assistant couldn’t even wrap my ankle brace properly. I don’t think they train their employees here properly. They gave me crutches that didn’t fit, and took it away and didn’t offer me another option because they don’t have crutches that are my size. The nurse assistant suggested going on amazon to buy crutches that fit. What is the point of paying for very expensive health insurance and copay? Unless you want to pay to waste your time, I suggest not coming here.
