AFC Urgent Care Stoneham

Staff were great; kind, efficient, helpful. The receptionist, nurse, and PA. The X-ray machine was down which I wouldn’t blame on the workers or facility. Facility was clean, I got seen right away and online registration was easy. In the event you need urgent care, which I hope you don’t, I would recommend AFC Stoneham.

Really a great experience from start to finish. I made an appointment online and showed up about 30 minutes early. The front desk staff greeted me warmly and helped me complete the check-in process. I waited for about 10 minutes and I was called back and worked up by a very friendly medical assistant. The physician came in and introduced herself and was very thorough and promptly came up with a diagnosis and a plan. She seemed caring and was patient and answered my questions. I left thoroughly satisfied with my encounter. I will not hesitate to return if I need urgent care services.

My daughter had an embedded earring that needed removal. We made an appointment online and were see within 5 mins of arriving. The NP (Kate) was so good with my daughter. She was patient, gentle, attuned and she got the earring out! I would definitely go to this AFC again. We are so thankful.

This was my first visit. I pre-registered, which made the check-in easy. The staff was attentive, asked a lot of questions, ran some quick tests and explained the diagnosis well. I was impressed and would visit the facility again.

This is a good alternative when our primary healthcare providers are unable to see our family on notice. The space is clean, organized, and efficient; the care provided is (understandably) superficial. This week was the second time now that “swabs came back negative” and no additional tests or interventions were recommended (beyond rest and fluids) that upon follow-up with a primary provider resulted in additional medical support. The team itself is great and as attentive as they can be, given how little time it seems they are able to devote to each complaint. When given the choice, I’d always rather see our dedicated providers for any issues.
