AFC Urgent Care Riverview

The check-in process was easy and painless, and the front desk was very kind to explain that our insurer isn’t available on Sundays for them to call and confirm coverages. She requested a payment as a placeholder instead, which was fine with us. We took our kiddo to check to make sure that her persistent cough wasn’t something more serious. The doctor on call was very nice and understanding and patient with our daughter. We do have a bit of a wait but this was due to being walk-ins and not having checked in prior to our visit. The office and waiting area were clean and tidy, creating a safe and professional environment.

2nd time at AFC urgent care, and the entire online admission forms were very easy to fill out. The front desk was very kind and knowledgeable. The M.A. was kind and efficient. The Dr on staff was helpful and caring. Totally different staff this time but the staff was just as welcoming and nice group of people.

This place is exceptional! You can tell that the staff not only care about the patient, but truly enjoy their careers. Everyone there was so pleasant, professional, and full of charisma. These people take good care of their patients! The only urgent care I will ever visit.

Although the wait was longer than the 30 min that I was initially told (appx 50 min), the service from the nurse and physician were amazing, compassionate, fast and detailed. I'll try to book ahead next time to see if that improves the wait time. The facility was clean and check-in was efficient on the phone.

I recently took my son in for a fever, and during the visit he unexpectedly passed out. The staff responded immediately with fast, attentive, and compassionate care. They kept us calm, acted quickly, and made sure my son was safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. I’m incredibly grateful for the professionalism and kindness we received. Truly exceptional care during a scary moment.
