AFC Urgent Care Ridgeland

The service at AFC Urgent Care in Ridgeland MS was top notch! I was expecting there to be a wait since it was the weekend, and was pleasantly surprised when I was called several minutes earlier than my scheduled time. The staff was very helpful, and I was quickly diagnosed, treated with medication, and tested all in the same day! Thanks so much to the incredible team

I was there on Monday for a staph infection. Dr. Gab treated me. This was my first time at this office or seeing this doctor. While in the office the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, I asked the doctor about some medication to help relieve joint pain and he stated "sure, I will call it in." After going to pick up my other medication I found out that he didn't call it in. I called the office to find out if he just forgot or what. The lady that answered the phone said he was busy and that she will speak with him and call me back. She never did. I called the next day twice, once in the morning and then again in the afternoon. First time no answer so I left a message and no one got back to me. The second time the lady informed me that the doctor wouldn't be back in until Thursday

I’ve been waiting since 2:30 hours and there has been zero communication about wait times or delays. When I politely asked the receptionist for an update, she was extremely rude and dismissive, saying “the people ahead of you are still waiting” as if that justified the lack of basic courtesy or information. I understand urgent cares get busy, but there’s no excuse for poor attitude and unprofessional behavior—especially toward patients who are already not feeling well. A little respect and clear communication would go a long way. Very disappointing experience. By the way Dr. Gabriel was so polite.

I was able to schedule my appt with ease. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bedside manner and consultation was exceptional! I did however experience an extensive wait time as a result of some technological issues. I had to speak with the check-in staff and nurses multiple times for all of us to learn that there was a glitch in the system, but all is well.

The one test I asked for, they never tested me for it. They actually tested me for everything except that including some “new” bacteria infection that doctors are studying now. It’s been 6 days and I had to call the diagnostic lab directly to receive results for everything except the 1 thing I had symptoms for because the urgent care facility still didn’t have my results. Now I have to go to another facility, wait longer, and pay again. I will not be paying this urgent care, take it to collections! I would not recommend nor suggest going here. The customer service over the phone is horrible especially when that older gentleman answers. He doesn’t know anything, can’t hear, and is rude because he over talks you. I really wish I hadn't wasted my time, money, or insurance here, but I thought
