Dr. Carter is truly one of a kind. I walked in knowing that I needed a lot of dental work & that it would be expensive. It was overwhelming. There were tears. I was embarrassed, but he met me with nothing but kindness, patience, & compassion. He never made me feel judged, just cared for. Dr. Carter is doing his best to help me get back to smiling again. That kind of grace & understanding means more than I can ever put into words. I’m so thankful for a dentist who treats you like a person, not just a patient. I couldn’t recommend him more.

Dr. Carter was absolutely amazing ! Thorough, knowledgeable, and well experienced! He was kind, and not only talked about my cleaning, but about orthodontics (I have braces) and future cosmetic treatments/surgeries options (like veneers)! He was very personal when it came to choosing my specialist referrals! He made me feel so confident in the work they will be doing for me ! Everything I expected PLUS MORE! There is NEVER a dull moment when coming to the dentist with Dr. Carter. It is always a Blessing coming into the office to see each one of the staff. And, Mrs. Theresa is the BEST hygienist EVER. She is so funny and fun. If you need a dentist who genuinely care and shows it please give Dr. Michael Carter office a call. You will not regret it. I absolutely LOVE them ❤️

I can honestly say that in all my years of visiting Doctors and Dentists offices, I NEVER experienced the heartfelt warming of the staff at Dr. Michael Carter's Dental office. His Dental Assistant Ava, made me feel soooo comfortable and anxiety free. Kudos to her. But the most memorable part of my visit was Dr. Michael Carter, himself. His "chair side" manner (and humor) made me literally emotional, because I felt that the way he treated me was truly genuine. I was referred to his office by a friend (Ms. Audrey Anderson) because I was experiencing the worse toothache pain. On the same day I called, I was seen, with no hesitation. I am for sure that Dr. Michael Carter will be my Dentist from now on. And I will refer him to anyone who ask me do I know a good Dentist!!!

For over 42 years, our family has relied on Dr. Michael Carter, DMD, for every check-up, cleaning, and emergency. He’s not only a superb dentist, but a genuinely kind and caring person. He has now opened his new clinic at 607 Crescent Boulevard in Ridgeland, Mississippi, and we’re excited to follow him there.
