AFC Urgent Care Livingston

Word of mouth around Livingston is PA Makayla is very unprofessional. Not sure how she isn’t fired yet..I understand every patient can’t be pleased, but for 1 specific provider at AFC to have such a bad rep thru Livingston and Short Hills is not good. No matter what reviews say good or bad, real life reputation is everything. I understand there are different doctors on staff at this AFC and everyone else has been great to myself & anyone else I’ve referred here but anytime Mackayla is on shift from now on we will be going to city MD or simply rescheduling to see a different AFC doctor. To add she is not even a doctor. So, Thank you AFC for having DNPs which makes more sense to have, allowing patients to feel more confident/comfortable with the treatment and diagnosis here.

In contrast to the review below, this center was recommended to me by our school nurse and my family has been receiving outstanding urgent care here since. We have seen PA Makayla on a number of occasions and Dr. Brown as well. Thorough and caring every time. Keep up the great work!

MISDIAGNOSED! My son was misdiagnosed by Mackayla Probasco during his visit here. We immediately sought a second opinion elsewhere, where he was properly evaluated and treated. READ THE REVIEWS this is not this first time Mackayla has a complaint!!!!! and made a "MISTAKE" What followed was even more disturbing. When I spoke with the administrative director to raise serious concerns about the misdiagnosis, there was ZERO concern for my child’s health or safety. Instead, I was clearly told that my "insurance would still be billed despite the incorrect diagnosis." The medical report had lies on it that were not discussed at my visit. This experience made it obvious that billing matters more than patient care here. There was no accountability, no empathy, and no transparency, only a focus o

DO NOT GO HERE!! My child has been crying that his ear is hurting. I took him here, trusting that they will help us understand what is happening. The doctor took a quick FAKE look and said he’s fine. I went to PM Pediatrics for a second opinion (THANK GOD).. Turns out he had earwax in his ear, and you could not even see the eardrum. When they cleaned it, they saw both eardrums were very red and infected… He is now on antibiotics. Places like this that do malpractice and negligence should be shut down. They just want to bill insurance and make a quick buck.

The wait time was non existent… the staff couldn’t have been any more friendly … the facility was extremely clean. The dr and X-ray tech were very knowledgeable. I would give them 10 out of 10 stars if i could!! I Highly recommend:)
