AFC Urgent Care Lakewood Ranch

The whole staff was great. My daughter and I truly appreciated them staying an hour after there closing time 🙏🏻 the provider Samantha Bouie APRN was amazing and assure that my daughter got the treatment and everything she needed. Highly recommend them.

I came in with a fierce cough that I struggled with for weeks. I was met by friendly staff and quick, caring service. Dr. Ellis took excellent care of me—she was sympathetic and knowledgeable! Before I left the office, CVS had already alerted me that my prescriptions had been received. I am so grateful for Dr. Ellis and the staff at AFC Urgent Care.

I chose this facility because it’s very close to my home. The check-in process itself was efficient, but the front desk experience was disappointing. I was not greeted, not told the wait time, and was simply directed to scan a QR code. There was no acknowledgment when I paid my copay or when I left. The ARNP, however, was excellent—knowledgeable, attentive, and respectful of my background as a nurse. She listened, diagnosed the infection, and treated me appropriately. As a medical practice manager, I believe the front desk plays a crucial role in the patient experience. More compassionate, communicative staff at the front would greatly improve this practice.

Bright, clean waiting room. Friendly staff. I waited 1 hour from the time they requested I arrive until I saw the nurse. She was very helpful and communicated well. The whole process to sign up for appointments was very easy to do at home before arrival.

I was very impressed with the efficiency, cleanliness and communication! Completely paperless! I was initially told the wait would be 90+ minutes so tried another place, but within 30 minutes they called me back and got me seen. The nurse practitioner was very professional and helpful, offering several treatment options. Next time I need medical care, I’m going here!
