AFC Urgent Care - Channelview

I am sooo grateful that I went to this location. Thank you AFC staff and team for your service, cleanliness, friendliness, hospitality, knowledge, and for getting my son feeling better! The doctors at this location are AMAZING! My son was feeling very bad, they diagnosed him right the 1st time and even made him laugh. And, I could not end this review without saying THANK YOU to the front staff going all the way to the back staff for being soo patient, supportive, caring, professional, and friendly! It makes a difference, especially when you or have a love one that’s not feeling well. I highly recommend this location for your Urgent Care!

Ive visited this facility twice because I refuse to go anywhere else. My doctor was Dr. S Johnston. She is INCREDIBLE! She is very intelligent, gentle, caring, funny, and just provides a relative like comfort that I have not found anywhere else. I pray I won't be back (bc it means I am unwell-obviously) but if need urgent care, you will find me here.

Came here for the first time for a pre employment drug screen and had a great experience. The lady at the front desk was polite and clear on the check in process. The building was clean and well kept. Mr. Buenestro who administered the test was very polite and even replaced a band aid I had after washing my hands. Small things like that show how they actually care about their patient here. Overall the process was quick and easy, spending about 25-30 minutes total for the visit.

My overall experience on 12/20 was decent. Checking in was easy & the staff was friendly. My biggest complaint was that I went in for ear pain, was diagnosed with "perforated ear drum" and not prescribed anything for pain. It was about 2 hours before closing, and I chose the pharmacy down the road (because of insurance) and they did not advise about potential for medication to not be ready in time and what to do in the meanwhile. I might be the only one to feel that they should be cognizant of the nearby pharmacies and how that will affect care after leaving the facility. Not 2 days later, I'm having similar symptoms with my other ear and now question the "that looks fine" assessment.

Definitely recommend, fast services. Friendly service, the staff actually shows they care how you feel. Nurse practitioner was amazing and kind. Best experience received at an urgent care facility.
