AFC Urgent Care Boulder

The check-in staff are very patient to help me figure out my insurance problem by talking with the insurance company. everyone was friendly and supportive. I didn’t have to wait for a long time to meet the doctor. The doctor and staff were caring and let me know the cause for my sore throat and cough is bez I got infected with Influenza virus. The medicine works well and I feel much better after taking medicine. Thank you so much for your service!

Summary: Very good care, handled insurance well and very personable throughout. I was very happy, except for the understandable delay. I went to the Boulder office while on vacation in the area, for a minor injury. The front desk staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful, collected my insurance info about as quickly and efficiently as possible. I had about a 40 minute wait from completing the paperwork and giving basic medical information to a friendly and efficient nurse (?) before I saw the care provider, Autumn.(No one really said what their credentials were, MD, Physician Assistant, etc., but all seemed very compassionate and competent.) I had an exceptional experience at AFC urgent care with nurse practitioner Laura Walls. She quickly diagnosed my issue and took the time to educate me, which made me realize I shouldn’t wait so long to seek care. I was so impressed by how fast I was able to get my appointment, especially considering it’s flu season and clinics are usually busy. Overall, the service exceeded my expectations and I felt well cared for throughout my visit.

Wow, just visited this place for a wound and it is super efficient. Great, professional care and every single staff member I talked to from the reception onward (probably 5-6 people) were without exception friendly and on top of it. The doctor treated me swiftly and explained everything along the way, including after care at home. She was just great. No one wants to have to go to urgent care, but this was as pleasant, friendly, and upbeat as you can hope for. 5 easy stars!

This was my second time coming to AFC on Pearl. The first time I had an appointment, this time I pre-registered a couple hours before. Both times I got in to the exam room right away. I love the streamlined process of paperwork and check in, especially on my second visit. No handwritten forms! Scan qr code to check in. The lobby area is comfortable and spacious, filled with natural light. My time in the exam room felt quick and thorough. All of the staff from the receptionist to the doctor were kind, knowledgeable, and present. Even when I called the next day with follow up questions about my labs, the receptionist took time with me. Everyone was willing to answer my questions. And Dr. Tim was thorough, efficient, and patient with my questions and concerns. He gave me strong g
