Adventist Health Urgent Care - Parkrose

The visit to schedule an appt was great / very pleasant and friendly front desk personnel. No issues with the ingress of finding a new doctor going forward, since my previous doctor Nancy Ronan retired from your clinic. My only frustration is having to wait months (June to be exact) to get an appointment with Megan. I know there is a shortage of doctors and nurses nowadays, and I’m sure it will only get worse as time goes by. So many doctors including yours are not taking any more clients. PA’s are the choice today, and then if they cannot handle the issue, they suggest a doctor who may or may not be able to see me or anyone for months. It would make more sense to simply go to Urgent Care every single time I have a need and have them suggest a doctor of their choice that is available. I’m

The doctors assistant Lana was sterrific , super polite and efficient too. If I had a company, I would hire 100 of people just like her. The reason I didn’t go five stars was although the doctor was efficient she had absolutely no bedside manner. It seemed like we were taking up her time. If the rating was just for Lana it would have been A solid five stars stars

I was easily able to make a same day urgent care appointment this morning. My appointment was for 3:00. I arrived early and after check-in I waited only a few minutes before being called back. Hilary the medical assistant was immediately friendly. Once in the room I became emotional speaking to her about an ongoing medical condition I live with. She was so kind and told me it was a safe space to let my emotions out. She got me a tissue and really listened, she showed me a picture of her dog’s Halloween costume which made me smile. I received great and efficient care from Dr. Pang and Dana the X-Ray technician. The front desk staff were friendly as well. I hope Hilary is recognized for going beyond the scope of her job, she’s a very kind person, I’m grateful for her care today.

Called capacity at 530 with no one in waiting room. 2 patient x 2 providers is about 30 min. There wasnt any indication on their website that it was closed or at capacity. Additionally when I asked front desk why it was at capacity she said she didnt know shes just informed by providers. Its an hour walk to get there. I mostly just need to pee in a cup and have them send abx. There also wasnt any patient education of any kind of video services or e visits though google suggests its a thing and clearly the lab must be open till 7 if they anticipate to be there till then

I was treated politely and professional from the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor. Dr. Alexander Phan was caring and explained what I needed to do, what to do if I had some problems and I did not feel he was trying to get done quickly so he could go to his next patient. He answered my questions thoroughly and felt like he cared. I was very impressed with the clinic and the people working there. I actually felt I was treated better there than when I visit my regular doctor. I would not hesitate to recommend Adventist Health Parkrose Urgent Care. Thank you very much for everything.
