Adventist Health Castle: Emergency Room

Had to make a trip into the ER for chest pain! I am so glad we went to Castle! What a wonderful staff! From admission to nurses and doctors, they are caring and very efficient! Fortunately my situation ended up not being serious! Would highly recommend this medical facility!

Very pleasant and nice experience - I broke my toe, so nothing serious, but the ER had not much else going on. Jeffrey and the Doctor, as well as the admin ladies, were all incredibly nice!

Had a debilitating sinus headache that caused me to fall down in pain while walking. Really nice people doing intake, but doctor saw me for less than 5 minutes, did not diagnose me correctly, and charged me a fortune. I ended up going to a different hospital, got the correct diagnosis - my sinus passage was 97% blocked, and was able to breathe again. Go to one of the urgent care facilities in Kailua if you need help. Avoid avoid avoid!

Just moved to the island a month ago and had a very good experience (if good is the word…not many good things land you in the ER at 5am!). Every single staff member was kind, helpful, and welcoming. They got me back and on an EKG asap, and when my heart was normal shifted quickly to other tests. Honestly the most efficient and least stressful hospital visit I’ve ever had, and that was dealing with a gallbladder attack for the first time ever in a new place at the crack of dawn. Non-personnel things were also really great — everything was clean and orderly, good room setup, no insanely outdated or broken equipment. I don’t know if this place is really good or if I’ve only ever been to really bad ERs in the past, but I’m grateful to have been seen at this one!!

My girlfriend and I were in a really bad accident that saw my car totaled. We were taken to this ED with non life threatening injuries thankfully, the staff there were really sweet. Nurse Ethan is a star and so is Ms. Darlene who manages the insurance stuff. Dr. Stevens checked me out and made me feel assured! Thanks team
