We are so incredibly grateful for our son’s occupational therapist Danielle. From the very beginning, she took the time to truly understand him — his strengths, his sensory needs, and what motivates him. She creates sessions that feel fun and engaging while thoughtfully targeting the skills he needs to grow. We’ve seen such meaningful progress in his regulation, confidence, and overall ability to navigate his day. She also empowers us as parents with practical strategies we can use at home, which has made a huge difference. Most importantly, our son loves going to OT — he feels supported, capable, and understood. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

My son has been going to OT with Ms. Danielle for an about 2 months now and it has been absolutely amazing to see the progress that he has made. We truly appreciate the individual attention that he gets for his specific things that need attention. He has come a long way and I can’t wait to see where we end up! My son loves his time at Coastal Speech for occupational and speech therapy! I can’t recommend their teams enough!

I’m enrolled in the CFCC Occupational Therapy Assistant program and I was here for my Level 1 Fieldwork rotation. I was with Ms. Danielle for my rotation and I would suggest her, or any of the other therapists here to my family/friends. Her passion for the profession is evident by both her interactions with clients and caregivers, but also how you could tell she loved the profession by the way she taught about. I absolutely loved my time here and I can tell the clients love the therapists they are with!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Christy at Advantage Therapy and Rehabilitation. She has made such a positive difference in my 13-year-old son’s life. My son is autistic, and Christy has shown such patience, kindness, and genuine care in every session. We’ve seen noticeable improvement in his mobility, and she has given us simple, helpful steps to continue progress at home. It’s clear she truly cares about her patients and wants them to succeed. We’re so grateful for her support and dedication — Christy is amazing at what she does & that’s providing quality of life in others with small milestones 😊

I would highly recommend bringing your loved ones here for any type of therapy. I'm a UNCW student that has spent the past few months shadowing Ms. Danielle, the clinic lead and occupational therapist, and I can say confidently that I would bring my family and friends here to be treated in a heartbeat. The environment set by the therapists is safe and welcoming, and you can see the love they have for each patient in the way they interact with them. As an aspiring occupational therapist, this has given me lots of great experience and made me very excited for my future career!
