Absolutely unacceptable experience. I called this office to request the name of the doctor responsible for a surgery on my boyfriend’s left shoulder, which resulted in serious complications. Instead of helping, Mal — the staff member who answered — was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She refused to give me the doctor’s name, refused to provide the office address, and then hung up on me mid-conversation after telling me to “get off the phone.” This is not just poor customer service — this is gross negligence and a complete lack of respect for patients and their families. No medical professional, or anyone representing a medical office, should ever behave this way. Great experience all together!! Great bed side manner. I was explained everything more than once when I needed as many times as needed. They sent me to a great physical therapy place. I love the family feel they created with each patient. I even referred my mom and she got her surgery as well!!! They are more than just doctors, technicians, medical assistant, personal assistants and etc. They are people who treat us as patients like family! And we love them for it!!

I recently had shoulder surgery performed by Dr. Stan Avshalumov, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Dr and staff at the hip knee shoulder are awesome, however the hospital’s phlebotomy dept. May leave much to be desired. They were a very pleasant pair, however the bruise and bleeding I was left with after the experience was shocking! I have very large and easy to access veins, in all my 66 years of childbirths, surgeries and donating blood I’ve never bruised or bled asi did as a result of this experience. Reassess your department!! Had it not been for the wonderful experience upstairs with Dr. Parsons and his group, this review would be in the negative stars. Change this_

My experience at Advance Orthopedic & Joint was amazing, fantastic & awesome. Dr. Avshalumov is the best Orthopedic Surgeon I’ve experienced. He and his PA’s, Administrative Assistants are very warm, caring, respectful and professional. I would Highly recommend this doctor.
