Advanced Health Care of Lakewood

From Angie, the Director of Nursing (she’s amazing!), to Amber in Admissions and Kailyn, the Discharge Coordinator, our experience with AHC Lakewood was absolutely superb! It’s daunting to find a rehab facility for an elderly loved one who needs extra care but we found that care here and I highly recommend this facility. It’s 5 star rated with good reason. The people who work here are exceptional at what they do, they go above and beyond, and more than that, it’s obvious they love what they do. The therapy team is fantastic, especially Jen and Stephanie! The medical staff who work with the patients day in and day out gave us peace of mind. I have been very impressed with the staff, care takers and facility at Advanced Healthcare of Lakewood. A close family member needed very specialized care with more complicated needs than the average resident and from start to finish, they have continued to go above and beyond to meet his needs. They brought in a pain specialist to come up with a specialized care plan for him, moved him to a room closer to the nurses station so they could check in on him more frequently, brought in a cot so I could spend the night there with him, and have provided a very caring, compassionate atmosphere. The PT and OT therapists have been extremely accommodating, professional and engaging while still challenging him to work harder and meet his goals. They are just a pleasure to work with. This facility is very nice.Staff really cared for my .mom. She had OT and PT everyday and got stronger every day. The dining room is great as well as the meals that were served.If we had any questions we could ask anyone and they would either point us in the correct direction or answer the question themselves. Very nice facility. Would come back here if need be.

Well after a little bit of a rough start, things went very well here. There really is a great staff working here and I am thankful for that. This place is 10 minutes from my house and couldn't have worked out better. It is a very comfortable place and very neat and clean. I'm glad my mother's stay here was as pleasant as it was. Danielle H. was one of the wonderful ladies that helped take care of my mother and I can not say enough good things about her. She made sure all her needs were met and and made sure she was comfortable. She even helped her with her food tray and unwrapped all the food for her making it easier for my mother. She is very kind and I am so glad she was taking care of my mother. Kuddos to all the staff here and I'm very grateful that she was able to be cared for here.

A beautiful facility with excellent staff. Everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Exceptionally clean, bright decor, meals are great. Nursing staff very friendly and attentive. Therapy is top of the line. Highly recommend.
