Advanced Emerald Dentistry- Puyallup

BEWARE!!!! We went there to give them a shot because we received a coupon in the mail. Prior to this, we had always gone to Graham dentistry up the road and never had an issue and had great service. We should not have ventured off a good path and tried Advanced Emerald Dentistry. This place is just straight BAD and what I can only call fraudsters! They are all about getting money anyway possible. First the coupon that brought us there wouldn't honor because we had insurance. The cleaning was just Muh, but the real kicker is when they came in and said, "you have 6 cavities, then it was 9"! The receptionist greeted me with a smile, and the waiting area was clean and comfortable. The dental team was professional, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable. They explained everything in detail, making sure I understood what was going on with my teeth and what treatments might be needed. I recently moved from University Place and chose this clinic because of the ratings. The front desk and assistants are always kind and welcoming, but the dentist made me feel uncomfortable. This was my third visit, and each time I felt more hesitant to come back. During my recent appointment for fillings, every concern or question I raised was dismissed with comments like ‘maybe it was just you.’ That’s not the kind of response I expect from a healthcare professional. I want a dentist who listens and takes patient concerns seriously, so I’ll be finding a different clinic.

After arriving to my child’s appointment, the receptionist told me that my family had been dismissed from the clinic. No phone call, text or letter regarding as to why. And the receptionist refused to give a reason. As we live 1 HOUR away, a simple notification would have been nice!
