Throughout my early stages of adulthood, I developed stress induced Eczema known as Dyshidrotic Eczema. As someone who is invested in their skin, the most challenging part of this was experiencing the scariest flareups this Summer. Initially, I was falsely diagnosed with scabies….(yup from CityMD urgent care, fyi don’t ever go there). I knew something was wrong and I then chose to consult with the Dermatology Specialist of Harlem, where Dr. Henriksen was able to pinpoint my issue. He did everything (I mean everything) in his power to help me but being that he is licensed to a facility that survives on false claims of coverage to insurance companies, I was refused care and prohibited from communicating him by their receptionist. Which led me to Advanced Dermatology and all I can say is BABY

Any time I was scheduled with Mike Davis, our appointments always seemed rushed. He also seems to minimize certain concerns which can be interpreted as a form of medical gaslighting. It gave me the impression that their priority is to get as many patients in and out, as quick as they can. He seems slightly visibly annoyed when asked questions, which doesn’t quite make sense to me because as a patient, I want to be educated on what is going on with my body as well as the treatments that he is considering.

First I wanna start by saying that the group of receptionist are very rude not friendly and very dismissive very unprofessional I was very disappointed with the lack of care I got from this place I was there only twice ,then I go to my 3rd scheduled appointment for a follow up jon my treatment plan ,just to be told that they don't accept my health insurance, Which I found strange so I called my insurance and I was told that the receptionist at Advance Dermatology had to be doing something wrong with the billing code ,My insurance didn't see anything as far as my insurance not being accepted at this place ,they even saw the first 2 visits ..I was soo devastated and just left , I never received a call from Advance Dermatology again not even a follow up care appointment Nothing 💔😔 if your se

This place is a mess they don't follow up you neither with your pharmacy. I was promised my prescription would be send out to a different pharmacy because the first pharmacy couldn't accommodate my plan. I and pharmacy called this place many times they don't pick up the call then when physically I went to the place they were able to help me but at the same time they all had attitudes like why I am there? One even said don't raise your voice on me which I didn't do at all
