Advanced Dental Care of Shady Road in Ocala

My experience was awful. This was my first time there. I showed up about 10 minutes early for paperwork etc. I waited 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. I got up and asked them if I would be seen soon. They said it would be another 30 min! I inquired about rescheduling they told me it would be another month and a half to get in!!! I felt like I was hostage at this point. I finally went back. The xray girl was nice. Then there was a different person who came in to check my gums. Rushed through the entire thing and poked me all to hell! Horrible experience. I get that that’s the way to check them but I have had this done several times at other dentists and it wasn’t nearly as painful and rushed. Then after all that I don’t get my cleaning because the head office couldn’t run

Excellent dentist excellent hygienist excellent staff. They are very friendly very professional. If there is anything wrong with your teeth they will get down to the bottom of it and they will put you on the right path to have a beautiful smile and healthy teeth. They did an excellent job on me my daughter and my wife.

Sooooo, let me start by saying, the dentist is absolutely amazing! Allow me to point out, I was a walk in. 9am, on a Friday morning. Bussiest day of the week, right? Yeah - well, the receptionist didnt know what to say when I asked "does the dentist do emergency extractions, same day?" I knew she was tickled because of the way I sounded. I was in such pain, that my right eye didnt want to open up. My eye told me the night before, "now Shawn, im not helping you today, your tooth is kicking me in the veins, Ive told it to stop, but just as a tooth does, it just kept on kicking". Anyway, I had xrays and the dentist came in, asked me my level of pain, looked in my mouth and said, "yep, THEY gotta come out, but I am busy right now......" Unbelievable office….organized, clean and the wait time minimal. The staff in this office are exceptional. They are professional, friendly and sincere. My dental hygienist Chelsea not only listened to me she was very gentle, pleasant and caring. In addition they took my insurance and any out of pocket cost was agreed upon before any work proceeded.
