I recently saw Dr. Baldwin for a consultation, during which he personally recommended an in-office procedure and explained it in detail, saying “I will…” when describing how it would be performed. Based on that understanding, I scheduled the procedure with the expectation that Dr. Baldwin would be performing it. When I returned for the procedure, I was informed that a different provider would be doing it. I expressed that I believed Dr. Baldwin would be performing the procedure, and the practice administrator responded very rudely that I would not be seeing Dr. Baldwin again, he only sees patients at their first appointment. My appointment with Dr. Baldwin went smoothly; I was seen quickly, and he was kind, professional, and efficient. The issues came from the billing side. There was very little transparency about the cost of items or services. I had to slow the staff down multiple times to ask for prices before they proceeded, and they often assumed I was ready to pay for things without confirming. Since I was paying almost entirely out of pocket until my deductible was met, this was especially important. Dr. Baldwin performed an injection on my ankle 1/19/26 that left me unable to walk for over a week. It is much better now, but I am still in more pain than when I first went to see him. When I woke up the first morning unable to walk, I was very scared. Dr. Baldwin would not speak to me on the phone and the staff would not allow me to schedule an appointment to see him. I did see the nurse practitioner two days later. She barely touched me and did not answer my questions and I was still not allowed to schedule a follow up with the doctor. Dr. Baldwin later declined to answer questions about my treatment plan via message and asked me to leave his practice, because I criticized his lack of communication on a private Facebook group. His ego seems to be easily bruised by online reviews
