Accurate Dermatology

I had a very disappointing experience with Acura Dermatology in Rockville Centre, mainly due to their extremely unprofessional office staff. My son had been going to this office for about six months, with appointments every two weeks starting in June. During that entire time, no one informed us that they did not accept our specific insurance plan. We repeatedly asked if we owed anything and were told each time that everything had to go through insurance first. Months went by with no claims showing up through our insurance. Then in November, the office finally submitted the claims, and they were all denied because the office does not accept our plan. In December we suddenly received a bill for over $3,000. When I started asking questions, I was told they do not accept that insurance plan—

Amazing service- Dr. Jeffrey Calderon is easily one of the best doctors I’ve been to. Easy to talk to and really takes the time to help. Shows he cares about his patients and wants to see them improve. Huge thumbs up

Have to pay almost $500 on a bill they never mentioned I would get for a treatment that was pushed by them that I did not need done. Removed multiple biopsy sites that were unnecessary to be done and later charged me high prices despite knowing what insurance I have. Unless u want to waste your time and money don’t go
