I got great care and they did my ERCP procedure I needed. Night one was great. My husband got to stay in the room with me. We don't live just 10 min down the road...more like an hour plus...so that was important to us , not to mention the emotional support he provided me . Then day 2 they move us to a double/shared room and don't disclose to us that my husband cant stay in here with me due to the fact we are sharing. 1.this would have been nice to know before we were asked to move....2. You waited all day to let us know and then tell my husband that visitor hours ended 2 hours ago so he needs to get out. The charge nurse was very rude/heartless about it, handed us a paper with their rules and guided my husband out. Mind you, the girl Im sharing a room with was OK with my husband staying ov

I've had 15 different surgeries over the years at some of the best hospitals in the country and to say the service and treatment i recieved here at Abbott by Dr Dusty Schuett for my hip replacement was like no other. His bedside manner was excellent and heartwarming. I then met my nurse Samia Ahmed who was my nurse when I was in room H7204 . She had explained in detail the reason for my terrible pain from being unable to do my.spinal block as initially.planned and helped me in another way with attempting to control it in other ways instructed by Dr Schuett. She offered me food, took my to bathroom made me feel.lile a family member and truly was concerned about me which honestly considering rhe unknown situation minneapolis is dealing with at this time and all the stress around us just atte

The stars are ONLY for some staff & because it’s pretty clean despite what other reviewers have stated. The ER waiting area was okay, I went here as I was having issues with my thoracic spine, so pain was radiating down my arm, & also caused my ring/pinky finger/part of my right hand to get numb. I had to lay down on this couch in the wait area, as I thought I would be there over two hours their txt system said, staff said don’t believe it, ❓why have it?? Staff was right, waited 30 min & was taken to a room when everyone else can see or hear your info; patient privacy anyone? Then was brought to an okay room with HARD chairs for a guest (2025 people they have soft chairs now), & waited in a nice ER bed. A young PA came in & as soon as he asked me why I was taking a benzo long term, I ins

I want to say thank you to Katie and Tom and all the other wonderful staff that took care of my husband, Rick Mickelson while he was in the Cardiac ICU. He didn’t get to come home with me but is with God! They were so caring with him and of me and my family during the few days he was there! Such an extremely difficult time but they helped to ease this awful time! Thank you!

My family member is at Abbot Heart Hospital in the 4000 unit. The midnight shift left my brother laying in feces not just alittle the bed was covered. The hospital must be short on fitted sheets as the bed no longer has a sheet on it, or is that so the care team don't have to go to all that work when the tube leaks. His INR was at 5, LVAD people want him around 2 1/2 to 3. So in 4000 you get a warfarin. But just a small one I was told. If you don't know that is very bad! Last night when I went back to check on my brother. I called the station last night after I got home and asked them to have the nurse call me, I wanted to know what his respirations were and and what a container was at the head of the bed on the right side. The nurse called back, I asked her my questions, obviously my que
