AAMC Pavilion – Kent Island

Went to take my daughter for a chest X-ray because she’s prone to pneumonia. We were the only ones there at check in and I had her sit in an end chair away from others. The woman at check in had a terrible attitude. Seemed like having to deal with patients was such a burden to her. We signed in and waited. As more patients started to arrive she began getting them signed in. She looked over my daughter’s order and said from her desk to me in my chair “ maam she needs to wear a mask since she has the flu” - total HIPAA violation. Then proceeded to have an attitude, pulled out disinfectant wipes and wiped down the checking area, sign in tablet and anything else she thought I touched.
