I bet he’s a great doctor and knows his stuff, but his office could really use better communication. I was due for maxillofacial surgery in 2019. I had my first appointment where everything went well. Then I had my 6 month follow up. Mind you, I had to drive roughly 2 hours for each appointment in Richmond. After my 6 month follow up and trying to schedule another appointment, it was dead silence. The office wouldn’t return our calls nor emails. I wonder why the sudden lack of communication. Then the pandemic rolled in which delayed my surgery even further. Now, 4 years later after my initial appointment with Dr. Abubaker, I still haven’t heard a word from him nor his office. But I am happy to say I at least got my surgery done in Lima, Peru with a different surgeon recently and am very ha

If I could give Dr. Abubaker (and Cecilia) 10 stars, I would. He removed both of my kids wisdom teeth on the same day and our experience from start to finish was wonderful. Dr. Abubaker was kind, compassionate, understanding, and did a great job with both kids. We had several questions after the procedures, and he and Cecilia were both very accessible. Although the office isn't the most convenient, Dr. Abubaker made it all worthwhile.

Dr. A took out my wisdom teeth all 4 on Tuesday and went back to work Wednesday with no pain or swelling! Ate chicken tenders with hot sauce for dinner that night. Took 1,000mg of tylenol an hour before the procedure and 2 Aleve 3 hours after. I repeated it 12 hours apart as a precautionary measure. Nothing since and still no pain or swelling 2 days after. Thanks for the easiest 30 minute procedure I have ever had! For those out there needing them pulled later in life as I did, he did a great job!

Dr A is amazing. He is very amazing at his job and knowledgable of his field. We see him very frequent and he is so nice. Can't go wrong with him as your surgeon

Although he may be a magnificent physician. His office could really use improvement with their communication or the lack there of.
