986 Pharmacy - Temple City

This is the best pharmacy ever! And I don’t ever think about reviewing pharmacies lol. But I’ve been with them ever since my doctor had a problem with finding an important med for me in stock. I couldn’t find a place that stored it or could deliver it to me each couple weeks, and it’s free delivery. They don’t have a drive-through but still offer all the things your neighborhood pharmacy can offer. Great service with a smile and kind attentive delivery drivers. I’ve known the same driver for over a year now, and he’s sweet to my little dog too. Temple City 986 has been my go-to for everything. It began during the covid era when I lived down the street and we moved to duarte and I’m still with them even though I’ve got a chain pharmacy next door.

There are patient and kind staff here, who carefully explain how to use the medicine. My child was crying because he was afraid of being vaccinated, but the caring male staff comforted him gently without any impatience. It took 20 minutes to give the child water to drink, and finally succeeded. I must give him 10 out of 10. Now my family doctor has also changed prescriptions to pick up here. The employees are always polite when calling. Neighbors in the community, I believe you will also like it here.

Finally found a local pharmacy that cares about the people. Came here from a recommendation from a friend and this will be my new pharmacy. The staff is very helpful and explained to me all my copays and insurance info. Then Dr Chau went over all my medicine with me thoroughly! I now use their delivery service which is very reliable and saves me a lot of time! Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about this Pharmacy. I was on vacation in a remote area and forgot my blood pressure meds. I found a Rite Aid, and they called 986 to see if I had a refill available. Of course, I didn't, and it was a weekend, but the friendly people at 986 tracked down my doctor for approval, and I had my meds in my hands within 1 hour! Also, there is rarely a wait, and they deliver! This is the place if you are in Temple City and looking for an alternative to CVS or Rite Aid.

OMG finally!! I was having trouble looking for a home Covid test and they had it!! I went in same day, did not need an appointment to go in to get a home Covid test! Thank goodness I really liked the employees here because I never had to do a Covid test before but they walked me through the process and eased my nerves. Note: IT WAS A HOME TEST. Definitely come by and get your home Covid tests.
