The prior examination with a provider last year with a different insurance was fine. I told the person over the phone that my insurance had changed and wanted to update her, but she stated that, verbatim here — providing information would be a violation of HIPAA. That isn’t true. Sharing medical information without the patient’s consent is a violation. I went to the store as I was assured that they would take my insurance. They didn’t accept my insurance, which is why I wanted to verify over the phone and ask first before wasting my time there. When I told the manager and front desk that it is perfectly fine for a patient or potential client to disclose their insurance to verify, they then changed their tune that it was the “store policy.” You can absolutely ask to verify over the ph

I picked up both eyeglasses and sunglasses and everything fit perfectly . They handled my insurance and the overall service was awesome.
