5th Ave Dental Associates LLP

My family have been fans of 5th Ave Dental for 15 years. However, within the last 2 years, they have declined significantly, specifically with booking and keeping appointments. I've had appointments cancelled the day before the appointment and no available rescheduling dates for months. My son needed his wisdom teeth removed and they had no availability and were unwilling to even refer us to another oral surgeon because our insurance didn't require a referral. My husband had a cap put in that changed his bite and had to be redone. The last straw was after agreeing to an appointment reschedule on a Friday afternoon before the DOE holiday break, aka worst traffic day ever, I was admittedly running 15 minutes late and was in contact with them, the technician refused to wait so they canceled

Going back to Brooklyn was the best decision I could have made for my family. Fifth Avenue Dental cares and they make sure your taken care of. They truly make a difference and my sons are more active in their dental health. They have made a complete turn around in their brushing and flossing habits. Also, they understand people on a human level and the way they treat patients is amazing. No worries about aggressive dentistry here you can relax.

There is no respect for patient privacy at this office. You will be required to provide your Social Security number, even though it is not legally required for receiving dental care. I would not recommend this office to anyone who values their privacy and security. However, I strongly encourage others to read additional reviews and make an informed decision for themselves.

i should have listened to the bad reviews initially. as soon as i stepped into the office the receptionist with red hair was extremely rude for no reason at all. which was already very off putting. then when i got seen by my dentist. he didn’t even introduce himself so i don’t even know his name. and didn’t care to know after my 5 minute cleaning was done because he was also just rude and unprofessional. i wont be returning and definitely don’t recommend.

This place is a scam. They refused to do a filling for my wife because they insisted that she has gum disease and she will need a LANAP procedure done that cost $6800. We went to another dentist and they said she doesn’t have gum disease. This place just wants your money and not your best interest of your health.
