I have always felt fine going to dentists in the past with no complaints and pretty pleasant experiences across the board. That being said, I went to 406 dentistry for the first time a week ago and was shocked at the experience I received - and not in a good way. In fact, this dentist experience shocked me in the stark contrast it provided from what I have come to expect in dental care. I described it later to my family at “The McDonalds” experience of dentistry. My appointment started with being rushed back to a chair where the dental assistant rushed through every second of taking x-rays of my teeth, not bothering to even attempt personability or showing any interest in me as a patient whatsoever. Heads Up: I was a patient of 406 Dentistry. On the first of the year (2025), I called to schedule my 2 routine dental cleanings. I spoke to the scheduler and I advised that I had NEW insurance and wanted to make sure 1. That they took my insurance and 2. That it would cover my routine cleaning 100%. She asked for my information (Group #/Policy #/etc.). She advised that my cleanings would be covered 100%. My first appointment was a routine cleaning. I know this because I have been getting my teeth cleaned for 52 years! Two weeks later, I received a bill for $68 stating my insurance did not cover the complete procedure. I was confused and called to ask why I was charged as their scheduled confirmed my insurance would cover this procedure at 100%. Bottom line, I am no longer a patient as th

This isn’t easy for me to share my personal experiences publicly, however. My hopes in sharing this are that I can be the courage for somebody out there who may not have a voice or simply just doesn’t know the level of mistreatment they may endure. I am sad to say, I have had a couple unfortunate experiences with 406Dentistry. I initially made an appointment due to pain on my lower gums. I had been placed in a booth i was left for about 45 minutes before being greeted and as staff crowded a window to watch and gossip about a traffic stop outside. Throughout my appointment I heard conversations loudly talked between the staff about how tired they were, ready for the day to be over, lunch, headaches a busy day. After far too long between dental visits, I finally got myself scheduled. I always dread going to the dentist because I know I could do better with my oral hygiene, and most often the Dentist will let you know in a condescending manner. Not here. Everyone at 406Dentristry is pleasant. Sure, they let you know what you need to do, but they don't make you feel bad about yourself in the process. If anything, I'm just motivated to do better. So glad I chose them. And they take Care Credit too! Super convenient.

They offer products to try. Each appointment they clean my appliances. The front office is friendly and helpful. They provide 2 options of cleaning teeth which is appreciated. I have a small mouth and plaque buildup. They help remove the plaque and keep my teeth and gums clean. A team effort is applied in this dental office. They care about their clients and show it. Thanks.
